The holiday was from 13th October to 7th November 2000, NZ springtime. A good site to get current weather info is wunderground.  Parking the car for long periods is expensive but we've used Purple Parking, Southall twice now for long haul holidays. Can't fault them. Excellent shuttle both ways and four weeks cost £77.70.

I hope the site reflects a magnificent holiday in both Islands of NZ.  New Zealands greatest asset is its people but I can't capture that spirit on camera.  Everyone you meet is proud of their Country and happy to share it with you.

For techo's the photographs were taken with a Canon Ixus APS.  They were scanned with an Agfa 1212P as bitmaps, resized then converted to JPeg format for uploading.  I took a lightweight tripod this time to avoid all those photos with just one of you in.

Those on a limited budget should visit the Kiwi Experience site. My daughter did it in '98 and its a wonderful trip, rafting, sky diving, bungy jumps, heli hikes...........

Over 800 photos were taken (£103 to get them processed!) and 5hrs of video.  Itinerary for the visit was put together by Bridge the World travel with a 4 night stop over in Singapore.

Drove down East coast of North Island, crossed on the Interislander ferry to South Island and then down East side and back up the West coast. 2000 miles for £100 worth of fuel!
