Queenstown
Beautiful Queenstown from Bobs Peak, 2500ft asl, looking across Lake Wakatipu. The lake is 52 miles long, 3 miles across at its widest point, 1310ft deep and covers 112 square miles.
Looking towards Glenorchy and Mount Aspiring national park.  The smudge of smoke on the lake surface is SS Earnslaw making its way to the sheep station on the other side.
The luge down from Bobs Peak. There are two tracks, one slow and one fast.
And then ride the chair lift back up. Yes the support post is at that angle and not the fault of the photographer.
SS Earnslaw tied up at Queenstown jetty.
On the move across the lake.  You can take afternoon tea or evening dinner on one of the cruises.
The famous Hackett bungy jump point at Kawarau river.

Jet boating on the Dart river. 30 miles at high speed into Mount Aspiring national park on fast flowing rivers. 350hp Chevy with twin Hamilton jets, astonishing. We went with Dart River Jet based at Glenorchy about 40 min coach ride from Queenstown.

Too old for jet boating. Nope, so long as you get your kit on!

The air must suit the cars as well!
